On a mild October evening, I met Aparna and Alex at their place for their Beacon Hill Engagement Session. We made our way to their roof and I documented them as they hung out, cuddled and laughed together. Before heading out to walk their usual route, we stopped inside their apartment. I really love taking photographs of people in their homes. There is something so personal and intimate about capturing someone where they eat, sleep and live most authentically. The photograph of Aparna and Alex laughing on their couch is one of my favorites from their session. I’m guessing, as time passes, it will be even more significant for them too.
During our walk, we wandered through their favorite local spots and made our way to the Charles River Esplanade where Alex popped the question. Documenting these two in such significant places was a true pleasure. I’m so grateful we crossed paths and look forward to photographing their wedding this August in Woodstock, NY. Congratulations again guys, thanks for being so wonderful to work with!
