I had a great time hanging out with Andrea & Alex during their South End Boston Engagement Session. After meeting them at their place, we strolled around their neighbourhood as they usually do. They watched the dogs at the park , wandered through their favorite streets and grabbed a celebratory drink at Aquitaine. I always encourage couples to do their normal thing during an engagement session and am so glad Andrea & Alex did just that. They got to spend some uninterupted time enjoying each others company; and I know they’ll love looking back at these real everyday moments they shared in and around their first home. I am really looking forward to documenting their wedding at Cyclorama this fall and know it’s going to be an incredible day focused on celebrating the love and commitment these two have. A huge congratulations guys, so glad we crossed paths!
“We’re SO EXCITED to see these photos! Thank you so much!! They came out great. It was a blast to have this time with you, get comfortable in front of the camera, and now we have some great photos that we’ll cherish forever.”

I love going through the past year and picking out some of my favorite images. After revisiting these fun and beautiful moments of true love, I’m excited to share my Best Boston Engagement Photographs of 2017. I love when an engagement session feels like a great date. When a couple can totally forget about the camera and have some uninterrupted time together in a spot they find significant. These images were captured all over this great city, in first homes and a bit further out too. I can’t thank each and every couple enough for inviting me to document them while they spent time doing what they love together. Congratulations to all of you! Enjoy this exciting and special time in your lives and may 2018 be the best year yet!!!
I want to give a little shout out to all the wonderful spots I had the pleasure of visiting while photographing these amazing couples. In Boston… Seaport District, Back Bay, Chinatown, Lookout Rooftop Bar at Envoy, Fenway Park, Boston Public Gardens, The North End, Boston Harbor Hotel, The Arnold Arboretum, Charles River Esplanade and The Boston Harbor. Further out: Prospect Hill Park in Somerville, Auburndale Cove, Powder Point Bridge, Duxbury Beach and the World’s End.
I really enjoyed spending time with Sam and Doug during their Arnold Arboretum Engagement Session. They come to this beautiful place often and we walked through their favorite spots while they shared time with one another. We only spent a short time together but they made capturing their love and sweet relationship a breeze. I really enjoyed getting to know them and want to thank them for asking me to document this significant time in their lives. Congratulations guys!!
Engaged? Get in touch and we can begin chatting about how to document this special time in your lives! I offer mini engagement sessions (like the one you see here), full engagement sessions and love story sessions that you allow you to spend a couple hours together, uninterrupted, while I capture you as couple.
Jen and Caleb are great and I really enjoyed documenting their Boston City Engagement Session. I joined them at their apartment in Chinatown before we walked over to the Lookout Rooftop Bar at Envoy for a drink and some epic views. After, we strolled around some of their favorites spots until we made our way to the North End and took an Uber to Prospect Hill Park in Somerville – the special place where these two took their friendship to another level. These two have traveled around the world together and have recently made Boston their home. I’m so glad they have and want to welcome them and thank them for being so much fun to work with! It was a pleasure capturing them in their new home and stomping ground. Congratulations on the move and engagement guys! Here’s to a lifetime of adventures together!
Courtney and Jon walked just a few steps from their home for their World’s End Engagement Session. We strolled around the beautiful surrounding, as they often do, and I really enjoyed documenting their love. These two are particularly kind and witnessing their special relationship was a reminder of the beauty in this world. We ended the session with a few portraits on their front steps and I am so glad we did. I love when the elements of everyday life shine through in a session and know these two will treasure them. Thank you so much Courtney and Jon, I can’t wait to share your incredible wedding day at Mount Hope Farm in the coming weeks! Congratulations again!
Thank you so much for sending the engagement pictures along, we absolutely love them!! We’re really excited to have pictures in one of our favorite places and in front of our house. It made us even more excited to have you photograph our big day!!
Hope all is well and talk soon!
