Hi! I’m Gina

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of weddings, couples and families – so many that, frankly, it was hard to choose my favorites. When I look at these photos, I’m not just seeing the lighting or the composition, I’m seeing the memory that was made in that split-second, the moment that I was able to preserve for these loved ones. Take a look through the galleries, and if something resonates with you, get in touch via the Contact page. I’d love to get to know you and help tell your unique story.

Families

March 10, 2023

I’m not about mini sessions, but mini moments.

Because what seems so ordinary now may be so precious later.

PROCESS

I’m a Boston family photographer who operates without sets, props, posing, or any fuss. I help create a comfortable and judgment-free zone where you can be your perfectly imperfect selves. All you need to do is open the front door.

When you reach out, I’ll work with you, asking you questions about your family’s routines and favorite activities to decide when and where to do our session. Every session is different because every family is different. I’ve been there for Saturday morning pancake making and Thursday evenings at the playground. But the end goal is always the same: photos that feel like you and forever spark memories of what it was like to be a family, right now.

EXPERIENCE

“Gina was able to capture the most honest photos of the three of us I could ever imagine. Aside from a few more formal portraits, we just hung around with our kiddo, doing things we normally do, not thinking any of it was particularly out of the ordinary (ok, maybe our slightly nicer clothes were out of the ordinary). After the shoot, I worried that we hadn’t done anything special. We just, kind of, did normal stuff. I thought we might just get back some nice staged photos of us smiling at the camera.

Boy was I wrong.

When I saw the photos from Gina (way ahead of her given timeline, I might add) I was blown away. I actually started tearing up at a few of them. She was able to capture such joy, such love, such hope in our short session of normalcy. I don’t know how she did it, but it felt like the photos I got back almost didn’t match the memory I had of the day. It is like Gina saw something that we didn’t. We saw an every day occurrence. Gina saw just how extraordinary life becomes with a little one.

And now I have those incredible photos so I can be reminded just how important and magical and special all of those mundane moments can be.”

“Absolutely incredible. Tom and I love them, so much! Of course I cried. They are just beautiful and exactly what I wanted; a snap shot of our lives as it is. You are a wizard, and captured it all. Can’t thank you enough, but I’ll still try, so THANK YOU!!!”

COLLECTIONS

The structure of my family sessions is a bit different than my other packages because, over the years, I’ve found that the needs of my families are different than those of my other clients.

Up front, you will pay for a flat session fee. After that session, when your photos are ready for viewing, you and your family will have the opportunity to view them in the comfort of your own home via a custom slideshow. (Families really enjoy this part!)

From there, you will choose your exact collection package for purchase. I have a variety of collections that include a range of digital photo options, so you know the collection you’re choosing will include all your session favorites.

All collections also come with a print credit, which can be used towards frames, books, greeting cards, you name it. I want to do what I can to help families get those precious memories out of the hard drives and into their homes. This step may come last, but in my eyes, it’s the most important when it comes to getting the most out of your investment. Read more about it here.

Want some more info? No problem! Just reach out, and we can begin the conversation.

LET'S WORK TOGETHER.

Have a story that needs telling? I’d love to help. Give me a shout, and we’ll start a conversation.
