Hi! I’m Gina

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of weddings, couples and families – so many that, frankly, it was hard to choose my favorites. When I look at these photos, I’m not just seeing the lighting or the composition, I’m seeing the memory that was made in that split-second, the moment that I was able to preserve for these loved ones. Take a look through the galleries, and if something resonates with you, get in touch via the Contact page. I’d love to get to know you and help tell your unique story.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is the preparations. There is so much excitement, laughter (and really great stories) as a bride gets ready with her closest friends. To help you make this time as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, I thought I would share some tips for getting ready on your wedding day.

It is important to ask your hair and makeup artist how much time they will need to get you and all your special ladies ready. You may be surprised by the amount required but it is always better to have more time with them. This will ensure everything runs smoothly and there is no unwanted stress. They can also recommend bringing an assistant along if you have a large wedding party as this will help move things along.  Another great way to create an enjoyable morning is to have the hair and makeup artists come to you. This will eliminate the stress of traveling and allow the bridesmaids to slip into their dresses before they help you into yours. This makes for much nicer photographs and gives everyone a moment to take it all in before heading for the first look or wedding ceremony. Some great getting ready tips for the bride to be

Some wedding vendors  recommend that the bride begins getting ready first and others recommend that they get ready last. From a photographers point of view, getting ready first is ideal. This way, the photographer will be capturing the special moments of the preparations while you look your best. They will also be able to photograph your the hair and makeup artists applying the final touches so you won’t miss out on these shots. Regardless of when you choose to get your hair and makeup done it is always best to have more time than you anticipate. This will get the day off to wonderful start and allow you to take it all in.
